According to Apple, Safari now demands less from the GPU, uses less energy, and is faster than before. A new feature is the sidebar, which keeps bookmarks at hand, if you switch between websites.
My favorite new feature so far is, you can use multiple screens!
I currently use my Macbook Pro as a desktop computer with a large external LCD display, external keyboard and mice. I can switch between the LCD and the laptop monitor effortlessly, watch a movie on one and write this blog on the other.
